Konrad von Moltke Fund reception
April 22, 2009, Washington DC
The memory of Konrad von Moltke, a pioneering thinker whose inspiration contributed to the birth of Ecologic Institute in Berlin in 1995, was honored in Washington DC on Earth Day, 22 April 2009, with a reception marking the start of the U.S. chapter of the Konrad von Moltke Fund.
The Fund is a tribute to Konrad’s vision in forging transatlantic cooperation in sustainable development policy by sponsoring exchanges for young policy researchers entering the field. The first Konrad von Moltke Fellow is Susanah Stoessel, a U.S. citizen who has worked in the Ecologic Institute office in Berlin since 2008. As the Fund grows, Ecologic hopes to increase the number of these exchanges through our U.S. office and through our institutional partners in the field.
